The Hustle Factor
The Hustle Factor: “Those who want versus those who are willing”
What exactly determines the success of an individual? Is it just their ability to lead? Does it have to do with goal setting or vision? Is success something that is acquired through hard work, determination and focused effort? Maybe it comes as a result of brilliance in academics. Was it simply luck?
As a writer and thinker, one could make a legitimate case for any of the concepts listed above and be absolutely right. She could explain that most successful people have a vision that is adopted by the team members of a company. They are intelligent, focused and goal oriented. In addition, their ability to communicate products and services in terms of customers needs is outstanding.
In addition to the concepts listed above, there lies a catalyst that separates those who want from those who are willing. That catalyst is HUSTLE!!
Someone who is truly committed to an idea, thought, concept or action is 100% willing to put in the necessary effort in towards achievement. Below are a few points that highlight the difference between those who want and those who are willing.
Those who want
1. Think about ideas (but it stops there)
2. Brainstorm
3. May be willing to do the work but are discouraged by any road blocks or set backs
4. Dream a big dream
5. Get excited about what might be
Those who are willing
1. Think about ideas, create the plan, have scope and EXECUTE!!
2. Talk with purpose
3. Have consistency in action
4. Turn dreams into reality
5. Run through road blocks or find a way around
6. Let their music out despite the good opinion of others
